Riverside Trail Day Testimonial
On Saturday, July 14th community volunteers from the Seymour Valley and Blueridge neighborhoods worked with the District of North Vancouver to upgrade a trail that runs from Riverside Drive to Carnation Street. The upgrades will enable kids in the Riverside Drive area to walk to Seymour Heights Elementary and Windsor Secondary Schools.
We asked Tyler Parke from Sequoia Landscaping if he would come out and lend a hand. He went far and beyond our expectations. He arrived on Saturday with a team of 5 as well as all of his tools and equipment. Their expertise was invaluable and they accomplished a tremendous amount or work in a short period of time. Concentrating on the upper, steep section of the trail, the Sequoia team transformed the trail with the construction of durable stairs using wood and rebar. This would not have been possible without their hard work.
Thanks to Tyler and his team, our children can now enjoy a beautiful and safe walk to school.
Thanks again,
